There Was No Betrayal, We Fought Against the World with Very Limited Resources: Araik Harutyunyan
There was no betrayal, there were no traitors: this was emphasized by the President of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, during a meeting in the Martakert region.
According to him, the key is to have the courage and continue the work that has been started. “During these thirty years, we have had victories, which I would call temporary successes, because if a victory is not final, it cannot be considered a victory. We have experienced failures, but that is not a defeat. We must find ourselves again and build the future for our generations,” stated the President of Artsakh.
Harutyunyan also noted that the presence of Russian troops in Artsakh should not be temporary, but rather permanent.
He also spoke about statements regarding betrayals during the war: “I want to make it clear: there was no betrayal, there were no traitors. We fought against the world with very limited resources. Do not rely on anyone who may come and save our country; the saviors are us, those who live here.”
