The Delta Variant of Coronavirus is Circulating in Armenia

The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia, in collaboration with the Russian-Armenian Slavonic University and the Institute of Molecular Biology of the National Academy of Sciences, has conducted a molecular-genetic study of samples from COVID-19 patients with positive PCR results. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Armenia.

Out of a total of 30 samples taken, the British variant was identified in 4 samples, while the Delta variant was found in 25 samples.
