Masked Intruders Assault and Stab Arman Antonian; Condition Critical

On August 1, around 1:00 AM, several masked individuals armed with bats and knives broke into the home of Arman Antonian, a member of the Yerevan City Council from the 'My Step' faction. They brutally assaulted him and stabbed him. Antonian's condition is reported as critical, and a criminal case has been initiated. This information was provided in a statement by Armen Galjyan, secretary of the 'My Step' faction.

'Preliminary assessments suggest that this incident may be related to Arman Antonian's activities within the council. I do not wish to disclose further details at this time so as not to hinder the investigation process. The 'My Step' faction strongly condemns this act,' the statement said.
