Legendary "Eghnikner" Battalion Commemorates Fallen Soldiers

Strategic Research Director Alvina Agababyan reports: "On July 30, a ceremony was held at the legendary 'Eghnikner' battalion's 2nd company in honor of the soldiers who fell during the 44-day war. A memorial stone was unveiled, as well as a small park dedicated to the soldiers who lost their lives in the two Artsakh wars.

In the photo, the memorial stone is shown alongside the park, featuring the soldiers of the battalion, who constructed the park with their own hands, and Battalion Commander Lt. Col. S. Bazikyan, who unlike others, did not retreat, accomplishing the impossible and maintaining his section of the front line, which expanded after the surrender of Talish-Matagis, up to this day.
