Zhirinovsky Admits to Having Poor Relations with Putin Due to His Name
The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, has revealed that he has poor relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin due to the shared name. This was reported by the URA.RU website.
The deputy made his statement during a broadcast on the Kommersant FM radio station. He confessed that he cannot come to terms with the situation where another person's name is the same as his.
“I don't understand that the other person's name is also Vladimir. I thought I was the only one with that name,” said Zhirinovsky. He added that he faces similar poor interactions with colleagues in the State Duma who share his name. “There is Gennady Zyuganov, Sergey Mironov, and here too, Vladimir, Vladimir. I think this is a problem,” the politician stated.
