During the boxing tournament at the 32nd Summer Olympic Games taking place in Tokyo, Japan, Murad Aliyev (+91 kg), born in Moscow and representing France, displayed unsportsmanlike conduct.

In the quarterfinal match against Britain's Fraser Clarke, the Russian boxer was disqualified for headbutting his opponent. At the end of the bout, Aliyev expressed his dissatisfaction, using offensive language and displaying vulgar gestures. He refused to leave the ring.

The 26-year-old boxer now faces potential sanctions.
