We'll Do Everything to Become the Main Heroes of the New Season: Mkhitaryan

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, midfielder for the Armenian national team and AS Roma, has stated that the Roman club has set high objectives for the upcoming season. He commented on the competition for the Italian championship, saying, 'I can say that the players of AS Roma will do everything to be the main heroes of the new season. We will try to secure as many victories as possible.'

Last season, Roma earned 62 points in 38 matches, finishing in 7th place in the Serie A standings. The championship was won by Inter with 91 points. The new Serie A season will start on August 21, with Roma facing Fiorentina at home in the first round on August 22.

Mkhitaryan has been with Roma since 2019 and participated in 34 Serie A matches last season, contributing 13 goals and 10 assists.
