Iran's nuclear program is progressing effectively and will soon become a reality. The only option to disrupt it remains a major war. But who will wage war against Iran? The answer to that question seems obvious - Turkey and Azerbaijan. This was stated by political scientist Stepan Danielyan on his Facebook page.

“In this context, it is essential to consider the significance of the Turkey-Azerbaijan military alliance, as well as Azerbaijan's ongoing military purchases and training. It is clear that the London-Ankara-Baku-Tel Aviv axis is operating against Iran (this axis organized our last war and should be viewed in the context of Iran). Locals from Azerbaijan and Arabs from Khuzestan will be used against Iran, while Iran will try to activate Turkey's Kurds, as it once did in the war against Iraq.

Who will be Iran's allies? There are questions regarding Pakistan, considering its relations with China. China and Russia are unlikely to support Iran directly, though they may do so indirectly. How Turkey will carry out military supplies and troops to Azerbaijan should also be considered in the context of the importance of the Meghri route for Azerbaijan.

It is clear that this scenario has a high probability of occurring, but predicting when is more challenging. The issue of Iran's nuclear program seems to accelerate the unfolding of events. What we will do is now a question that should be directed at the government. It is the government's duty to build action plans for various scenarios and to pursue an appropriate policy. Our task is to stay away from that possible war.”
