What Fine Will Be Imposed for Photography and Drone Filming in Border Areas
According to the amendments made to the "Law on the State Border," a fine of up to 100,000 drams will be imposed for photography and drone filming in border areas. The corresponding bill was adopted in its second reading at a special session of the National Assembly held today.
The session was convened at the initiative of a group of lawmakers, during which several other bills were also adopted in their second reading, and a draft amendment to the Criminal Code, criminalizing insults, was approved in its first reading. This draft will also be discussed in the second reading under a special procedure within 24 hours.
Vladimir Vardanyan, the co-author of the bill and chairman of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs, noted that the adoption of the bill is extremely important considering the recent developments.
