Official Leaves Medal at Yerablur on Albert Hovhannisyan's Grave
On the previous day, a state official left a printed note (attached in the picture) along with the "Order of Courage, 1st Class" medal awarded to him at the Yerablur Pantheon, believing it was appropriate to dedicate it to all the fallen brothers.
This was reported by Akberti's father, Artak Hovhannisyan, on his Facebook page. He stated, "We all understand that despite whatever we did in the rear, the burden of war lay squarely on the shoulders of the soldiers at the front. Today, our lives come at the price of their sacrifice, and this burden grows heavier as soldiers continue to perish along the borders. However, in this pervasive darkness, this individual’s noble action in acknowledging and valuing the sacrifices of the boys highlights the valor of our Heroes, as they live on as long as we remember and appreciate them.
We thank you, not only for honoring the sons who gave their lives for the homeland—which is our duty—but for emphasizing that among state officials, there are also reasonable people who are guided by their hearts and consciences. Most importantly, you reignited our hope for reclaiming our national dignity and waking from its slumber one day," the post concluded.
