Incident of Self-Immolation in Front of Ombudsman's Office Unrelated to the Institution

Today, around 12:00 PM, an incident of self-immolation by a citizen in front of the entrance of the Human Rights Defender's Office is reported to be entirely unrelated to the institution. The Ombudsman's office stated that there is no ongoing process or procedural action concerning this case within their framework.

In relation to the incident, first aid was also provided to the citizen by the Ombudsman's office. Moreover, a representative from the Ombudsman visited the hospital where the citizen was taken.
