Azerbaijani Armed Forces Fired Shots During Meeting with Residents in Verin Shorja: Ombudsman

Today, while we were meeting with residents in the Verin Shorja settlement, the Azerbaijani armed forces fired shots (with a position situated right above us), wrote Armenia's Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan on his Facebook page.

“At that moment, we had to temporarily halt our activities, but later resumed. We personally verified on-site that the presence of the Azerbaijani armed forces itself is a violation of the right to life for people living near the villages in Armenia. Residents of Norabak village informed us that today and yesterday, the Azerbaijani armed forces also fired shots,” Tatoyan wrote.
