3-Year-Old Child Transferred to Yerevan with Severe Traumatic Brain Injury from Artsakh
A 3-year-old child has been transferred to the "St. Astvatsamayr" Medical Center in Yerevan with a severe traumatic brain injury from Artsakh. The information was reported by the press service of the "St. Astvatsamayr" Medical Center on their Facebook page.
It is noted that the child was first taken to a hospital in Stepanakert, where they received initial medical assistance. After stabilizing the condition, the child was transferred to Goris by a medical ambulance. In Goris, doctors from the "St. Astvatsamayr" Medical Center received the child via air ambulance and transported them to Yerevan.
"The condition was assessed as severe upon admission, and the child was connected to a ventilator. Currently, there is positive progress in the condition; consciousness has returned, and the child has begun to breathe independently," the statement reads.
No further details have been disclosed regarding the incident at this time. It remains unclear what caused the child's injuries.
