VIDEO: Biden Confuses Obama with Trump

U.S. President Joe Biden confused the 44th President Barack Obama with the 45th President Donald Trump.

According to Fox News, during a speech in Pennsylvania the day before, Biden stated that in 2009, "then-President Trump" had asked him to work on pulling the automotive industry out of crisis.

“Back in 2009, during the so-called Great Recession, former President Trump asked me to take on the responsibility of getting the automotive industry out of crisis,” Biden said.

Nonetheless, the U.S. President immediately corrected his mistake, saying, “Sorry, it was a slip of the tongue, he was the last president. Anyway, we're talking about President Obama, under whom I served as vice president.”

It is notable that Biden often makes such blunders; months ago, during a speech at the White House, he referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as "president." During an event at the White House, Biden also forgot the name of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, calling him “the guy who runs the Pentagon.”
