Ministry of Defense Issues a Statement

On July 29, around 03:00, in the Gegharkunik region of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, towards Karvachar, Azerbaijani Armed Forces units violated the ceasefire agreement reached the previous day by opening fire with small arms towards Armenian positions.

Following the Armenian side's response actions, the fire was silenced. By 07:00, the situation was calm, with no gunfire reported.
