Major Accident in Syunik Region: 27-Year-Old Officer from Legendary 'Yegniktner' Military Unit Hospitalized
On July 28, a major traffic accident occurred in the Syunik region. Around 20:00, 27-year-old Aram Khachatryan, a resident of Shirak Province, drove his Mercedes vehicle on the Yerevan-Meghri highway at the 204 km mark. Under unknown circumstances, he veered off the road, collided with metal guardrails, and after several rolls of approximately 120 meters, ended up in a ravine.
According to shamshyan.com, driver A. Khachatryan was hospitalized at the Sisian Medical Center with injuries. After receiving first aid, he was subsequently transferred to the military hospital named after Muratsan in Yerevan.
As reported by G. Shamshyan, the injured A. Khachatryan was among the most active participants in the April 4-day war and the recent 44-day war in Artsakh, serving in the legendary 'Yegniktner' military unit of the Republic of Artsakh, and was known as one of the most beloved and courageous officers who valued his soldiers.
