Get Vaccinated and Win: Incentives Offered to Vaccinees in New York
Residents of New York City will be able to receive rewards for getting their first coronavirus vaccination. This information was reported by the city hall website.
According to the administration of the megacity, vaccinated individuals will have the opportunity to register for a prepaid debit card worth $100 in their name. Citizens also have the right to choose from other prizes.
As alternative rewards, they are offered an annual subscription to public theater, free admission to city attractions, gift cards, or bracelets for free family recreation at a theme park.
Those who get vaccinated will become participants in the Supercharged Peace program. New Yorkers aged 18 and older can win stays at the city’s best hotels or receive up to $2,500 in cash by the end of July.
The incentive program from the city hall also applies to public and religious organizations. They will receive $100 for each person they send for vaccination.
