Aliyev's Regime Begins to Pay for War Crimes and Aggression: Tankian

American-Armenian rock musician and System Of a Down frontman Serj Tankian has commented on the passing of a congressional amendment by Representative Frank Pallone that would strip Azerbaijan of U.S. military aid.

On his Facebook page, the rock singer wrote: "A great victory for justice. The actions of Azerbaijan's authoritarian regime against Armenia demand punitive measures. From today, Aliyev's regime begins to pay for war crimes and aggression. I urge all Armenians worldwide fighting for justice to work towards the immediate imposition of sanctions against Azerbaijan in your countries."
