7.3 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded in the Pacific Ocean: US Faces Tsunami Threat

A 7.3 magnitude earthquake has been recorded in the northern Pacific Ocean, near the shores of Alaska, USA. This information has been reported by the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 106 kilometers southeast of the settlement of Perivile. The focus of the earthquake was at a depth of 3.4 kilometers.

At the same time, the tsunami warning center reported that the earthquake's intensity was measured at 8.1 magnitude, prompting the declaration of a tsunami threat.
