Video: It Was Dark, Their Bunker Was 10 Meters Below Us, They Started Shooting Immediately, I Didn't Understand What Happened: Injured Soldier
Soldiers injured as a result of provocations carried out by the Azerbaijani armed forces are ready to return to their unit after recovery.
“We were on watch, it was foggy and dark, their bunker was 10 meters below us, and they started shooting immediately; I didn’t understand what happened,” recounts soldier Davit Ghazaryan.
Andranik Aleksanyan remembers that the enemy started firing unexpectedly. “They began around 03:30, and we gave an adequate response; we tried to do everything we could. After I recover, I am ready to return to my unit and continue my service the same way—climbing to the posts again and defending our borders,” says Aleksanyan.
According to the head of the RA Armed Forces Medical Department, Sahak Ohanyan, one of the injured soldiers is in extremely serious condition, two are in satisfactory condition, and one is in moderate condition.
