Video: If my Jewish friend Lapshin claims that I am lying, should we perhaps publicly disclose our conversations? Hovhikyan's response

“Today I was called by the Armenian Ambassador to Ukraine, former spokesperson for the Prime Minister Vladimir Karapetyan, who insisted that he did not make any predictions about Artsakh during his conversation with Alexander Lapshin and only expressed support for him. Vladimir Karapetyan claimed that he has no connection to the ideas expressed in my published audio message,” reported journalist and television commentator Nairi Hovhikyan.

“Alexander Lapshin sent that audio message (note that it was not a recording) on November 11, 2020, reminding me of our general conversation on May 11, 2019. At that time, I repeatedly asked Lapshin to speak publicly, yet he himself said it was not possible due to security concerns. I have known Lapshin since December 2016 and have helped him and his family in every way when he was detained in Belarus and sent to Azerbaijan. I complied with Lapshin’s request not to publish this for his safety, even though I told him that we should discuss this matter regardless, as I also have security issues.

I hope there will be no denials this time, as I have all the originals of our conversations at hand. I am used to speaking with facts, and if someone accuses me of lying or fabricating, they should have evidence for that. If my Jewish friend Lapshin claims that I am lying, perhaps we should disclose our conversations publicly?” wrote Hovhikyan.
