My Step Holds Meeting of Newly Elected Faction: What Are They Discussing

The My Step faction of the National Assembly is currently holding a meeting. This was reported by Armlur, noting that the theme of the meeting is the election of the chairs of the National Assembly committees.

It was previously reported that the ruling faction is experiencing a tense situation once again these days. The position of the chairperson for the Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Issues has become highly contested, with former head of the government staff Arsen Torosyan a candidate for the position, while My Step MP Heriknaz Tigranyan is also vying for the role. However, the faction seems inclined to elect Narek Zeynalanyan.

Interestingly, at a time when the country is facing a critical situation—with the enemy firing all night across the border in the Gegharkunik region, resulting in three casualties and four injuries on the Armenian side—the ruling faction prioritizes discussions about committee chair elections.
