Mother of Davit Aidoev, who died in the 44-Day War, involved in a car accident

Today, while returning to Yerevan from her son's grave, Lali, the mother of Artsakh hero martyr Davit Aidoev, was involved in a car accident in the vicinity of Aparan and was transferred to the Erebuni Medical Center in serious condition with multiple spinal fractures. This was reported by Aiser Isayan, the president of the humanitarian and economic development NGO "For the Welfare of the People" and leader of the "House of Yazidis" initiative.

"Today, while returning to her son's grave in Yerevan, she was involved in a car accident and was taken to Erebuni Medical Center with severe spinal fractures. She is awaiting complex surgical intervention," he stated.

It is worth reminding that Davit Aidoev was of Yazidi ethnicity. He was born on August 10, 2000, in the city of Spitak, but lived in Yerevan from childhood. He studied at the Armenia-American Medical College and was involved in athletics.

Davit initially began his military service in Jabrayil. During his service, he distinguished himself with honor, and at the beginning of the war, he displayed exemplary behavior. It is said that after the commander was wounded, Davit took command of the soldiers and was able to organize effective operations, capturing two enemy positions. One of these positions was named Aidoev Hill in his honor. Unfortunately, Davit heroically fell on October 5, 2020.
