Specifically, the publication states: “The Ministry of Defense of Russia has urged Armenia to stop provoking military clashes and to begin negotiations on the delimitation of borders. The agency reminded that Armenia should adopt new realities; otherwise, Azerbaijan will take decisive measures to protect its territorial integrity.”

Another part of the article mentions: “The outrage is due to the fact that this message aligns with the statement of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry made today. We hope that this text is an absurd mistake by the author of the article, confusing Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry with that of Russia's Ministry of Defense. If that is the case, we ask for the text to be corrected to avoid further unnecessary discussions. However, if indeed such statements were made by the Russian Ministry of Defense, we request clarification on who among the allied defense agency staff is playing by Baku's rules.”
