Azerbaijan's Armed Forces launched an attack early in the morning against the positions of the Armenian Armed Forces. According to Wargonzo, citing sources familiar with the situation along the contact line in the Vardenis region, the Azerbaijani military is making progress deeper into Armenian territory due to 'creeping infiltration.'

According to the Telegram channel, during the initial attack, the Azerbaijani side captured one of the Armenian positions, which was later retaken by the Armenian forces. There are casualties reported.

The Azerbaijani troops also attacked two other Armenian positions located within the same area of the Vardenis region. There are reports that the fighting continues.
