‘Armenia’ and ‘I Have Honor’ Alliances Express Stance on Current Situation

Today, a meeting took place between representatives of the ‘Armenia’ and ‘I Have Honor’ alliances. The information was shared by the head of the ‘I Have Honor’ parliamentary faction, Arthur Vanetsyan, on his Facebook page.

During the meeting, issues were discussed regarding the attacks on Armenian positions by Azerbaijani military units that have invaded the sovereign territory of Armenia, the losses suffered by the Armenian Armed Forces as a result, and the escalation of the situation along the entire border.

The ‘Armenia’ and ‘I Have Honor’ alliances expressed deep concern regarding the current situation and stated that the continued provocations and reckless behavior of the enemy at Armenia’s borders, along with the inaction and inability of the Armenian authorities in this context, once again prove that the recent elections have unfortunately failed to address the primary security problems and challenges facing Armenia.

The Armenian society must be officially informed about the content and progress of possible negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as mentioned in the statement released today by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

The dictator in Baku must clearly understand that a new situation has emerged in Armenia as a result of the last parliamentary elections, wherein a parliamentary national and healthy opposition has been formed that will utilize all its capabilities and leverages to restrain the enemy on the international stage and to serve the national and state interests of Armenia.

We express our full support and solidarity with the Armenian Armed Forces, assuring that we will support our soldiers and officers by all means necessary to deliver a worthy response to the enemy.

We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers of the Armenian Armed Forces and wish a swift recovery to the wounded.

It is worth noting that on July 28, at approximately 03:40, Azerbaijani military units once again provoked and violated the ceasefire in the north-eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. Armenia and Azerbaijan have agreed to ceasefire under the mediation of Moscow.
