Armenia to Deploy Its Entire Military-Political Arsenal, Foreign Ministry Releases Statement

The Azerbaijani military units that infiltrated the sovereign territory of Armenia since May 12 launched an attack on July 28 at 03:40, targeting Armenian positions located in the northeastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, resulting in localized combat. According to preliminary data, there are casualties.

This was stated in a release by the Armenian Foreign Ministry. The statement also noted, “It is significant that the Azerbaijani side chooses to deliberately escalate the situation at a time when the illegal presence of Azerbaijani military units continues in the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, with the leadership of Azerbaijan justifying such actions by making territorial and historical claims against Armenia.”

In response to Azerbaijan's use of force against Armenia's territorial integrity, the Republic of Armenia will deploy its entire military-political arsenal reserved under international law.

We strongly condemn the military actions of the Azerbaijani side directed against regional peace and security. The full responsibility for further escalation of the situation lies with the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan.
