The Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, has made a statement regarding at least three irrefutable facts about Azerbaijani criminal shootings in Gegharkunik:

1. The shootings are instigated by Azerbaijani armed forces, which are located within the sovereign territory of Armenia.
2. Azerbaijani gunfire takes place in immediate proximity to Armenian villages, including towards these villages.
3. The Armenian armed forces are defending the rights, lives, and peace of our residents.
