Ararat Mirzoyan Goes on Vacation

The Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, has sent himself on vacation, and he will be replaced by the Deputy Speaker, Alen Simonyan.

“In accordance with Article 6, Part 2, Clause 3 of the Constitutional Law on the Regulations of the National Assembly, Article 163 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Armenia, and Article 10, Part 1 of the Law on the Guarantees of the Activity of the Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, I hereby decree:

1. I will be on annual vacation from July 27-30, 2021.
2. During the period from July 27-30, 2021, the temporary fulfillment of the duties of the Speaker of the National Assembly is entrusted to the Deputy Speaker, Alen Simonyan.
3. The Deputy Chief of Staff of the National Assembly, Acting Chief Secretary A. Grigoryan, is instructed to ensure the appropriate payment execution in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.

This was stated in a decision signed on July 26.
