A Displeasant but Obvious Truth, Says Azerbaijan Expert

Azerbaijan expert Angela Elibegova wrote on her Facebook page: "A displeasant but obvious truth must be stated. Azerbaijan will not stop, even after signing a peace agreement, even after recognizing its territorial integrity and borders from our side, even after opening communications for them, and even after abandoning the idea of the deoccupation of Artsakh.

Because the only thing that can stop Azerbaijan is fear. And Azerbaijan fears two things: a strong Armenian army with solid backing and international pressures and sanctions. Both sources of fear have been neutralized; therefore, there is no motivation for Azerbaijan to stop.

If you want to have Armenia, you must restore those two motivational fears; there is no other alternative."
