Video: Homes Submerged in Flooding in Turkey
Severe rainfall in the Ardvin province of northeastern Turkey has caused landslides and flooding. The first floors of residential buildings have been submerged due to the floods. In a desperate bid to save their lives, residents have had to ascend to upper floors using ropes.
Residents of neighboring buildings captured these scenes and shared them online.
