Regional Administration Denies Reports of Enemy Fire Towards Armash and Surenavan Communities
The report circulating in the media that the enemy has fired towards the Armash and Surenavan communities in the Ararat region does not correspond to reality, the Ararat Regional Administration has stated.
“On July 26, starting from 11:30, the enemy violated the ceasefire along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the Ararat region, particularly firing in the direction of Yeraskh using small arms of various calibers towards Armenian positions. The Armenian side resorted to countermeasures. Currently, the situation is calm.
We urge representatives of the media to refrain from publishing information related to the border situation that does not correspond to reality and spreads panic,” the statement from the regional administration reads.
