So what happened? Simply put, the negotiations between Joe Biden and Angela Merkel concluded, the main purpose of which was to give final approval to the Russian "Nord Stream 2" gas project going to Germany, which has now been accomplished.

And now the political establishment of Ukraine sees itself as brutally "abandoned" in exchange for Russian gas. This is the same Ukraine that, like Georgia before it, was involved in prolonged crusader wars for the sake of Western facade.

The big gas agreement between the US, Russia, and Germany is now a reality. Did the powerful patrons of Ukraine "abandon" it? I believe not.

As I once asked in response to a question about why weapons are sold to Azerbaijan, the former president of the Russian Duma replied: "It's just business." And then, as world history shows, especially great powers act exclusively in accordance with the political, economic, and, most importantly, geopolitical interests of their countries.

As for those who pinned their hopes on Western vitamins, the sentimental pouting won’t bother the little cages of the great powers.

Oh, and let me not forget to disappoint the builders of the 2.6 billion Euro Armenian Eldorado from the European Council — that amount is very little, and so-called free money is about 200 million. The rest is external debt, increasingly in a highly risky zone regarding our external debt balance.

Plus, with the investment programs included in that package, when one bright Araratian morning we wake up and find out that the Turkish Zardusht has invested that 2.6 billion in Gegharkunik or Syunik, where just a few months ago a Armenian soldier was slaughtered.

Of course, to keep the genre rules, Zardusht will register his company in an offshore in the Seychelles to avoid "patriotic-meaningless-dumb" protests.
