Captured Citizen to be Transferred to Armenian Side Soon

Azerbaijan has handed over a resident of Artsakh, who had lost his way in areas under the control of Azerbaijani armed forces, to peacekeepers. The citizen, captured in Martuni Region, has been returned.

This information was provided by the Artsakh Human Rights Defender's Office in a conversation with Auroranews. “The citizen is currently with Russian peacekeepers. He will soon be transferred to the Armenian side,” officials from the Human Rights Defender's Office stated.

As previously reported, a call regarding the kidnapping of a resident from the community of Machkalaşen in Martuni Region was received by the Human Rights Defender’s office. Artsakh's Ombudsman Gegham Stepanyan posted about this on his Facebook page.
