7 Fatalities in 3 Days: Police Report
According to summaries of operational reports from the police, from July 23 to 26, the subdivisions of the Police of the Republic of Armenia uncovered 157 criminal cases, of which 7 were previously committed.
In particular, the breakdown includes: 33 cases of personal property theft, 24 cases of bodily harm, 19 cases involving the discovery of cold weapons, 16 cases of weapon and ammunition confiscation, 11 cases of fraud, 10 cases of drug discovery, 9 cases of beating, 4 cases of hooliganism, 3 cases of intentional property destruction, and 2 cases each for illegal tree felling, burglary, armed robbery, document forgery, and the illegal growth of plants containing prohibited drugs. Other offenses included one case each of engaging in sexual relations with a minor, poaching, abuse of official authority, bribery, tax evasion, official forgery or negligence, misappropriation or waste, smuggling of military-grade products, illegal border crossing, theft of public property, and sowing or growing plants containing prohibited psychoactive substances or toxic materials.
Nine wanted individuals were discovered, and 12 wanted persons voluntarily presented themselves. There were 5 instances of voluntary surrender of weapons and ammunition. Among previously committed crimes, 6 cases of personal property theft and 1 case of bodily harm were solved.
Over the past 3 days, 47 traffic accidents have been recorded in the republic, resulting in 7 fatalities and 69 individuals sustaining varying degrees of physical injuries.
