Russia Can Detect Any Adversary and Strike If Necessary: Vladimir Putin

Russia is consistently and successfully improving its naval weaponry, capable of detecting any adversary and delivering an irreversible strike if necessary. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin ahead of the country's main naval parade.

“Russia has swiftly taken its rightful place among leading maritime powers, having undergone a significant transformation from a modest Peter the Great-era vessel to powerful ships and nuclear missile submarines in oceanic zones. We have acquired effective maritime aviation for both distant and near operations, reliable coastal defense complexes, and the latest hypersonic precision weapons systems that have no equals in the world, which we are constantly and successfully enhancing,” the President stated.

Putin emphasized that at present, the Russian naval fleet possesses everything it needs for the guaranteed defense of the motherland and its national interests,” said the President of Russia.

Today marks the 325th anniversary of the Russian Navy. The main naval parade takes place in St. Petersburg on the Neva River.

Eighteen vessels and motorboats will participate in the parade, including landing ships, missile launchers, submarines, mine protection vessels, and other warships. Earlier today, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces made a boat tour along the coastal area where the ships are stationed, greeting the crews.
