Mane Tandilyan Responds to Ilham Aliyev

Currently, there are not 25,000 but 120,000 Armenians living in Artsakh. This was announced on the official Facebook page of Mane Tandilyan, the Minister of Labor, Social Affairs, and Migration of the Republic of Artsakh, as a response to the statements made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

“Immediately after the end of the war, thanks to the exceptional will and dedication of the people of Artsakh, the return of displaced persons was carried out quickly, and at this moment, more than 120,000 Armenians live in Artsakh,” Tandilyan states.

She also emphasizes that the right of the Armenians of Artsakh to live on their land is inalienable, and this is the main factor in the status of Artsakh.

Mane Tandilyan expresses hope that the Armenian authorities are providing adequate and comprehensive information to international partners regarding the current state of Armenian life in Artsakh.

It is worth reminding that Ilham Aliyev had stated that only 25,000 Armenians live in Artsakh, and for such a small population, it is illogical to discuss the issue of status.
