Erdogan throws bread to flood victims. It is reported that at least six people have died, and two others are missing due to floods and landslides triggered by heavy rainfall in northeastern Turkey.

According to Turkish sources, the hardest-hit area is the coastal city of Arhavi in Ardvin Province, located just 30 kilometers from the border with Adjara. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in the disaster zone for an unannounced visit. In a speech in the city of Rize, he promised that the volume of aid allocated to those affected by the disaster would be increased in the coming days.

In a video, his attitude towards the victims is clearly seen as he throws bread from bags to people standing below.
