Details of the Tragic Accident in Shirak Province: 3 Dead, 3 Injured, Including a Child
On July 24, a major and tragic car accident occurred in Shirak Province. Around 18:40, on the Spitak-Gyumri highway, in the area known as Jardizhor, a Nissan Pathfinder veered off the roadway under unknown circumstances and rolled approximately 50 meters, ending up overturned in a field.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, two individuals died at the scene, while three others, including one in critical condition and two with moderate injuries, were transported to a hospital in Gyumri. The deceased were found outside of the vehicle, one of whom was a minor.
According to Shamshyan, the vehicle was registered under the name of Vardan Khalikyan, a resident of Yerevan. The photojournalist later reported that the Austrian Hospital in Gyumri notified the Achujur police department that they had received one child who did not regain consciousness and subsequently died. Thus, it has been confirmed that the accident resulted in 3 fatalities and 3 injuries.
