Turkish Company Designs New Railway Route to Shushi

Work is underway on the design of a railway line leading to Shushi, reports minval.az, citing Javid Gurbanov, the head of Azerbaijan Railways.

The head of the closed joint-stock company noted that the design work for the aforementioned railway is being carried out by a Turkish company.

It is worth recalling that on November 9, the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan reached an agreement on the deployment of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh, and a statement was signed transferring seven districts of Artsakh to Azerbaijan, including Shushi and Hadrut, except for one village, as well as the villages of Askeran and Martuni regions, and the villages of Talysh and Mataghis in Martakert region.
