Eight People Poisoned and Hospitalized in Armavir After Eating Mysterious Minced Meat

A family of four has been hospitalized for food poisoning in the medical center of Armavir last night. This information was provided to Sputnik Armenia by the center.

"We have provided the necessary medical assistance and they have been sent home. The cause of the food poisoning was that they ate some kind of minced meat," said representatives of the medical center.

It is noteworthy that all the poisoned individuals are adults, with no children affected.

According to Shamshyan.com, the family members work at the "Children of Jesus" medical center in Armavir. The site reports that in addition to these four individuals, another four employees from the same center have also suffered from food poisoning. According to the website, they consumed kebabs ordered from a local food point during their break.

The Ministry of Health regularly issues statements indicating that during the summer months, the number of intestinal infectious diseases and food poisoning incidents increases due to improper outdoor food preparation and sales under unhygienic conditions.
