Collision between Opel and Volkswagen in Vanadzor: 7-month-old unborn child of injured pregnant woman dies during delivery

On July 22, a major car accident and tragic incident occurred in the Lori region. Around 5:30 PM, at the address of 1/4 Demirchyan Street in the city of Vanadzor, cars driven by 25-year-old Erik Melkumyan and 62-year-old Avetik Margaryan collided.

According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, A. Margaryan, his passengers—58-year-old Nunu Maragaryan, 35-year-old Tigran Margaryan—and E. Melkumyan, along with his passengers, 64-year-old Gohar Dumikyan, 47-year-old Armine Dounamalyan, and 28-year-old Anahit Harutyunyan were taken to the Vanadzor Medical Center with bodily injuries.

Reports indicate that among those injured, A. Harutyunyan was pregnant, and her 7-month-old child tragically died during delivery at the hospital.
