Karen Vrtanesyan: "Ask the STDC why their horrifying discoveries weren't made 2 years ago"
Karen Vrtanesyan, the coordinator of the specialized site "Razminfo," wrote on his Facebook page: "Ask the Food Safety Inspection Body again: why weren't their horrifying discoveries made 1 or 2 years ago at the same producer? Wasn’t there a location? Or were the restrooms in order, the equipment not rusted, and the walls freshly painted 2 years ago? Seriously?"
It is noteworthy that today specialists from the Food Safety Inspection Body's Shirak regional center conducted inspections at the dairy production facilities (cheese) and meatprocessing plants belonging to the "Bandi Van Dairy" LLC, as well as at the slaughterhouse, livestock, and pig farming establishments, and the sales point (Shirak region, Bandi Van village).
During the inspection, it was revealed that the equipment in the dairy production facility is rusted, the basins designated for cheese brining are contaminated, the walls and floors of the rooms are covered with mold, the technological process in the meatprocessing facility is not organized in a manner that prevents the contact of raw materials and semi-finished products with finished food products, and there are no sinks or restrooms available.
