Who Will Lead the ‘Armenia’ Coalition Faction?

According to Sputnik Armenia, the leader of the opposition ‘Armenia’ coalition faction in the eighth convocation of parliament will be the former Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan.

Discussions regarding the faction’s secretary are ongoing within the political force. In response to a question from Sputnik Armenia, representatives of the ‘Armenia’ coalition stated that they would make an official announcement regarding the distribution of roles among the faction members in the National Assembly tomorrow and advised to wait.

It is noteworthy that Seyran Ohanyan currently holds the 7th position on the ‘Armenia’ coalition's electoral list due to rejections of candidacies. This political force is set to receive 29 mandates in the upcoming parliament, one of which is for the representative of a national minority, Zemfira Mirzoeva of the Assyrian community.
