An American Got Vaccinated and Became a Millionaire

A Texas resident won a jackpot after receiving a free lottery ticket post COVID-19 vaccination, reports the UPI news agency.

On July 16, Harry Smith visited family members in Arkansas and received his second dose of the vaccine. He was informed that as an incentive for vaccination, he could choose between a $20 lottery ticket or a free fishing license. Smith opted for the lottery ticket and won $1 million.

Smith intends to use the winnings to pay off debts, get married, and go on a honeymoon. Similar lotteries are being held in other states as well. For example, in California, a winner claimed a $1.5 million prize.
