VIDEO: Putin Explores Capabilities of New Russian Fighter Jet

Russian President Vladimir Putin opened the aviation and aerospace technology exhibition. He was presented with a new military fighter jet, the single-engine Sukhoi light tactical aircraft, along with other examples of aviation technology.

This year, the focus is on promising examples of aviation technology. One of these is a fifth-generation fighter, while another is the Su-57E, which is intended for export. Also on display is the latest domestic MS-21 aircraft equipped with the new generation PD-14 engine.

The exhibition will take place from July 20 to 25, with public access starting from July 21. Due to pandemic restrictions, attendance at the events will require a QR code confirming vaccination or evidence of a negative PCR test.
