Famous Duduk Player Jivan Gasparyan Farewelled in Los Angeles

Famous duduk player Jivan Gasparyan has been farewelled in Los Angeles. Jivan Gasparyan Jr. expressed his emotions, stating, “The greatest duty is to continue his legacy. He had already given me his blessing, and I feel capable of doing it. I do it with love.”

He announced that the funeral will take place in Armenia on July 24, where Jivan Gasparyan will be laid to rest at the Komitas Pantheon.

It was reported on July 6 that the great musician had passed away. The farewell ceremony for the renowned duduk player will be held at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall (Mesrop Mashtots Avenue 46) on July 24, from 11:00 to 14:00. The information was shared by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia.

“His remains will be interred at the Komitas Pantheon,” the announcement stated.
