When the First Session of the Newly Elected National Assembly Will Be Convened

The first session of the eighth convocation of the National Assembly will convene on August 2.

In an interview with Armenpress, the Secretary of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), Armen Simbatyan, stated that the CEC will draft the protocol for registering the mandates within this week.

“The first session of the National Assembly will take place thereafter, on the second Monday,” noted the CEC secretary, without specifying an exact date.

The date of the first National Assembly session will be announced by the CEC chairman after the protocol is drafted.
