Traffic Congestion at Meghri Checkpoint, Customs Committee Reports

There has been a meeting between the personnel of the Southern Customs Department of the Republic of Armenia's State Revenue Committee (SRC) and the leadership of the Meghri customs checkpoint. This meeting took place with the leadership staff of Iran's Norduz customs checkpoint.

The SRC reports that during the meeting, issues regarding modernization efforts were particularly discussed, as well as the significant increase in passenger traffic in recent times, which has led to the congestion observed lately. Current operational matters arising from the duties of the customs officials were also addressed.
