Major Car Accident in Kotayk Province: Mercedes and Opel Collide on Nor Hajn Bridge, 10 Injured

On July 18, a major car accident occurred in Kotayk Province. At around 21:30, Mercedes and Opel vehicles collided on the Nor Hajn Bridge.

According to reports from the scene by shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, 10 people with varying degrees of bodily injuries were transported to the Abovyan Medical Center and various hospitals in Yerevan.

The first to provide assistance to the injured were citizens and rescuers from the Emergency Situations Ministry's special rescue team, who arrived promptly.

Rescuers used special equipment to extract the Opel driver from the vehicle.

Doctors from the Abovyan, Nor Hajn, and Byureghavan medical centers acted swiftly, administering first aid to the injured, including children, before transporting them to hospitals.

The police are investigating the identities of the drivers and the injured. At the request of the investigator, the vehicles, which have been reduced to metal scraps, are being moved to a designated storage area of the Nor Hajn police department.
